Relationship/Well-being/Family/Happiness/Balance/Mind & Body/Communication

Amazing You Services and Training provides strength-focused services (individual, family, and group) to children, youth, and families that will increase levels of well-being and happiness.  We use a Positive Psychology approach with all our counseling services.  Dr. Tayyab Rashid created Positive Psychotherapy. Positive Psychotherapy consists of techniques that are most successfully offered with warmth, accurate empathy, basic trust and genuineness, and rapport. Each treatment plan is created to address the unique needs of the person.  The first step is an assessment of the client’s symptoms and the well-being which will determine the level of positive emotion, engagement, relationships, and meaning in life.  These assessment categories form the basis of PERMA, which is the combination of Well-being Theory and Authentic Happiness Theory as postulated by Dr. Martin Seligman.  The goal of Authentic Happiness Theory is to increase the amount of happiness in your own life and on the planet, and the goal of Well-being Theory is to increase the amount of flourishing in your own life and on the planet.  Together, improving happiness and flourishing, PERMA is a cornerstone of Amazing You services.
